Having selected a site in NYC's historic Soho district, Camper, the Spanish shoe company, launched its first U.S. flagship store. For the new 2,000 sf selling floor, and 1,400 sf cellar storage area and showroom, EHAPC worked closely with Camper's design team in Spain to translate their ideas into built form.

The result is space that maintains the integrity of both the historical context of the building as well as the lifestyle the shoes represent. Extensive coordination with engineers and contractors, and filings with NYC agencies were successfully executed within the boundaries of strict budgetary and time constraints, including obtaining approvals from the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission for the exterior restoration, refurbishment and new signage at the 110'-long historic corner storefront.
